We invite you to visit our country garden center in Foster, R.I. Here on our farm, you’ll discover a large selection of indoor and outdoor plants and supplies. Our expansive greenhouse contains hundreds of hardy plants that are watered by pure rainwater and nourished by worm castings, nature’s most unique organic fertilizer.

Organic Gardening

At Natural Designs, we value our natural resources, which is why we water our plants with pure rainwater and fertilize them with organic earthworm castings.

Rainwater

All of the plants at our garden center are watered with harvested rainwater. Rich in concentrated nutrients, rainwater is free from pollutants, such as chlorine and its byproducts, as well as salts, minerals and other natural and man-made contaminants. This sustainable method of irrigation produces thriving plants and promotes conservation.

Earthworm Castings

Straight from nature, earthworm castings are an all-purpose fertilizer created when earthworms digest organic material. Also known as vermicompost, earthworm castings make extremely fertile topsoil because they contain all the elements required for long-term, optimum plant nutrition—and none of the synthetic nutrients that are harmful to our environment.

Special Events
